Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Technical Examination Board.

Important Note: Candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering are not eligible to apply for this post.

Basic knowledge of Computer Applications is required.

Adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, or both.

2. Age Limit (As of 02/05/2026)

Maximum Age: 33 years.

Relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS), Women, and PwD candidates as per Government of Gujarat rules.

Application Fee

General Category: ₹100 + Service Charges (payable via SBI e-pay).

Exempted Categories: SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, Ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates do not need to pay any fee.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be based on a Competitive Examination.

Mode: Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) or Optical Mark Recognition (OMR).

The State Examination Board (SEB), Gandhinagar has officially released the notification for the Teacher Aptitude Test (Secondary) – 2026 . This competitive examination is a mandatory qualification for candidates aspiring to become teachers in registered government and private secondary schools across Gujarat.

Examination Structure

The TAT (Secondary) is a two-tier competitive process:

1. Preliminary Examination (200 Marks)

● Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

○ Paper 1 (100 Marks): General Studies (General Knowledge, Teacher Aptitude, Logical Ability, Gujarati and English Language proficiency).

○ Paper 2 (100 Marks): Content and Pedagogy related to the specific subject applied for.

2. Mains Examination (200 Marks)

Only candidates who clear the cut-off in the Preliminary Exam will be eligible.

● Format: Descriptive Written Exam.

● Paper 1 (100 Marks): Language Proficiency (Gujarati for Gujarati medium; English for English medium).

● Paper 2 (100 Marks): Subject Content and Methodology.

⭐ GSSSB X-Ray Technician Exam Date 2025 Announced – Important Update Under Special Recruitment Drive

According to the latest update, the Board has decided to conduct the competitive examination for this post through the MCQ–CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test) method. Details of the advertisement and the proposed examination have been outlined in the official schedule published by GSSSB.

The MCQ-CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test) for this post was held on 25 May 2025, and the Board has now published multiple lists after completing the document verification process.

What has been released by GSSSB?

The Board has issued three separate lists for the reference of candidates. These include the final selection list, the waiting list, and the list of candidates who remained absent during document verification.

1. Final Selection List – Annexure A

Candidates who:

• cleared the document verification round,

• met the minimum qualifying criteria,

• and secured their place as per the merit order and category-wise vacancies,

have been included in the Final Selection List.

These candidates are now officially shortlisted for appointment to the post of Sterilizer Technician (Class-3).

2. Waiting List – Annexure B

A category-wise waiting list has also been released.

Candidates who qualified but did not make it to the main merit list have been placed in the Provisional Waiting List based on their scores and the availability of vacancies.

This list may be used for future appointments if selected candidates do not join or if the Board requires additional recruitment.

3. List of Absent Candidates – Annexure C

The Board has further published a list of candidates who were called for document verification but did not appear for the process. These candidates have not been considered for the final or waiting list.
